With
this nClamp mount, you'll easily clamp
and
stabilize your mobile GPS unit (or fishfinder) to virtually any object or
surface — for example a boat windshield, car window, wheelchair, sailboat
mast or bicycle.
This exciting product combines our popular nClamp with our Kayalu
Toughbar® RAM Mounts extension, creating a portable GPS or
fishfinder mount of unparalleled strength and
versatility.
The nclamp GPS/Fishfinder mount includes an
entire assembled
unit except for the custom cradle for your particular GPS
or fishfinder model. You
choose a custom engineered cradle from the RAM Mounting Systems, Inc. catalog of popular GPS
and
fishfinder models, including those from Garmin, Tom Tom, Lowrance,
Delorme, Magellan, SPOT, Eagle, Raymarine, Humminbird and many
other
manufacturers.

only need to purchase a cradle separately, not additional components or
hardware. RAM Mounts ships every cradle with bolts and nuts that are compatible
with the diamond-shaped base that is included with this
nClamp.
Need a fishfinder base? To

only need to purchase the base component separately, not additional mount

to identify the base. The RAM base for your fishfinder has a 1" ball which is
compatible with our nClamp.
The nClamp includes a powerful USA-made steel
"Pony" spring clamp and an assembly of RAM Mounts components including
two anodized aluminum balls and two high-strength composite socket
arms.

Important! The steel PONY
clamp needs a bit of care if
exposed to water. The PONY
clamp and its high-strength spring are made of steel, which will rust if exposed
to water or a damp environment. If you use your nclamp at sea or on a beach, it
should be rinsed with freshwater and dried after use. If you use your nclamp in
the rain or drop it in a lake, it should be dried after use. You can towel dry,
but we'd recommend a quick blow of heat from a hair dryer to remove moisture
from the spring.

The nClamp NCL-1500-T also
includes our 8-inch (20 cm) stainless steel Toughbar extension, which itself is
constructed using two RAM Mounts marine-grade aluminum balls and a stainless
steel rod. If you'd prefer a 10-inch (25 cm) Toughbar® extension, select
the 10" model in the menu below.
The nClamp GPS mount can
hold up to 3 lbs. (1.4
kg) of weight, easily managing large GPS and fishfinder units just as well as
handheld devices.
Each nClamp includes a
marine-grade nylon-coated bungee
tether and a 2" plated-steel breech clip
(shown in image at right) giving you
the option to secure your nClamp to any fixed eyelet in the event that the
unit
is bumped or jarred. This flexible tether is provided to minimize any
risk of
damage to your valuable devices.
